Robert Mathy - Light Frequency Fingertips

[...] In addition to the mobile phone screens, other illuminated electrical devices, such as blinking cycle lights (which generate rhythmic sounds) are employed.

Light Frequency Fingertips from Robert Mathy sonificates the interfaces of mobile end devices (mobile phones, etc.), which are specially designed to utilise light as an information carrier. In an elegant and playful manner, he thus demonstrates the places throughout our visual culture where the “Objet sonore” has been hiding.”
